What exactly is the reason for giving her vitamin C? Forgive me if you've said this already, I didn't catch the other thread.

Well she has red manage and I was giving it to her to boast her immune system for one thing.
My vet or I should say my old vet said that there was also a study that Hip Dysplasia can possibly be prevented in dogs that are younger than 2 years of age if given vitamin C everyday. He did say that the majority is genetics and or over weight dogs as well, but said there was a study out on Hip Dysplasia and the effects of vitamin C. Since Roxy has a low immune system and is kind of sick from the manage it's the main reason I was giving it to her and possibility of preventing Hip Dysplasia was just an added bonus.
I don't remember his long explanation, but he said that the vitmain C effects collagen, which effects Hip Dysplasia. I figured how could vitamin C hurt Roxy even if study was not correct or it's a myth, I figured with her manage I should give it to her anyway.
