Both of my dogs are extremely healthy minus genetic defects, my vet constantly comments on how great their coats are and how well my dogs do despite having major medical problems (having nothing to do with Vitamin E).

I also personally take 400 IU of vitamin E 3 times a week at the request of my medical doctor and I am just fine as well.

I think you are jsut fine. Yes it is a fat soluable vitamin, however the 400 IU is just fine.

Also I woudl not give that all in one capsule you linked to as I do not recommend giving additional flaxseed also not enough fish oil in it IMO unless you were to give like 6-7 capsules per day which just seems wasteful.

I'm not necessarily saying I'm right, but when my female is getting better from her immune related illness and I have my boy's alllergies 100% under control, both are at healthy weights, have blood panels that are great, have great coats, play, etc then I would say that they aren't being harmed anyway with our regimine.

JMO.

The problem I'm having is that some dog food I can see vitamin E is being added and I can see from kirland's fish oil that vitamin E is also added, how much I don't know. Then for me to add additional vitamin E does make me nervous when I start to read all the bad things for US to take too much vitamin E and also pets. Just googling for a second has so many results.
