There's really no such thing as a "normal" weight for boxers. They are all over the place as far as size goes. Also, boxer puppies can grow and develop at different rates; it varies from one pup to the next. Your guy might just be a "late bloomer"
To determine whether he's a good weight for his frame, you look at his physique. You should be able to see the last few ribs when the dog is standing normally -- that's for
adult boxers. In boxers younger than 2 years, more than a few ribs will likely be visible. If the spine and hip bones are obvious however, then the dog is too thin.
Your boy is in the lanky stage right now

As long as he's not TOO skinny and his energy level is good, you have nothing to worry about.
