Thank you for sharing the video tribute of Boost from his dad. I sit here in tears not understanding how this could have happened. HOW it is we live in a world that this sort of blatantly obvious chaos is allowed to happen?
I hope and pray that Boost is still alive. If he isn't I at least pray that his family eventually can remember him with laughter and joy verses the apparent heartache and tears that their memories are bringing now.
By his pictures it is obvious he was well loved.
I would see if the people who turned him in would be willing to make a statement about Boost's behavior with them. The story mentioned they were an elderly couple? Were they able to handle the "moody" dog with no problems?
I personally don't believe for a second that he was aggressive in any way shape or form and that the shelter worker interviewed is doing everything in her power to shine a positive light on what she did and the decision she made. Trying to justify the wrong decision.
9 out of 10 people CAN'T positively identify an actual pit bull when lined up with other dogs who have similar builds. That is a shame. Are pits banned in your area?? I'm sure the lawyer will get to the bottom of this or at least be able to come up with some answers during any investigation.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your friend, you and all that knew and loved Boost.
