DEFINITELY do NOT leave a puppy outside all day. There is no telling what might happen. He could get hurt while playing with your other dog, eat something that makes him sick, or escape through a tiny hole that you didn't even know was there.

If you have a pen, put him in there with a dish of water or a water bottle (the kind that attaches to the side of a crate -- less messy than a dish), a bed, a few safe toys (nothing that he can chew to bits and swallow pieces of), and an area of newspaper so that he can go to the bathroom.

I'm assuming this pen is inside.... if not, then set up an area inside like the one I've described above.

Are both of these dogs "outside dogs"?? Boxers are not fit for outdoor living for lots of reasons....
