RoyeBeth, we brought home our new bundle of joy yesterday afternoon. We currently have Dakota (pictured when he was little), fawn floppy docked and neutered, he will be 2 years old on December 22nd. We brought home Bailey, fawn floppy docked and will be spayed, 8 weeks old. We introduced them in the backyard and it was love at first sight. Dakota thinks she is the best think in the whole world. He is so gentle with her and grooms her and uses his legs and paws very gently to guide her where he wants her to go. He will bring his toys over and drop them in front of her wanting her to play. Hardest part is trying to make sure she doesn't use him as a chew toy with those sharp little teeth! If she whines for any reason he is all over her sniffing and licking, trying to "make it all better". We will continue to watch them like hawks until she's much older, but it was the best decision we ever made and if things continue I feel sure they will be best friends forever. I wish you and your babies all the luck in the world, but I bet they do just fine!!
