LOL - give the dog a chance! It can take a little time to learn how to deal with consuming raw food efficiently. Not a great deal of time, but more than just one meal

In a natural environment, he's have been learning from 4-6 weeks of age. But if introduced to natural food only as adults, most will still get the idea within a few days. They can easily be trained to keep their food in one place too. But again, it takes a little more effort to train than can be achieved in a single meal.
