If this girl was on your property I would file a report on her for trespassing. ASAP.
Each and EVERY time that she was on even a blade of your grass I would file a report.
This really gets under my skin!!!
I know that in *some* situations if a person is injured while on our property it IS our fault however her repeated illegal trespassing onto your property resulted in her being injured subsequently by your dog (even though not in an aggressive manner). Some of the responsibility MUST fall on her (or her parents for lack of supervision) and them not making sure she followed through with your repeated attempts to keep her away. **If that makes sense?

I had an issue with a neighborhood boy when Cami was younger. We live near an elementary school and Cami can hear the release bell ring. She knows this means that soon kids will be walking by on the sidewalks in front of our house. She always wanted to go outside and sit at the fence and watch them. Normal routine for her, bell rings, she goes and sits outside for about 15 minutes.
One day I noticed that she was barking during this time. She NEVER barks unless she has reason and for her it's not enough reason while watching kids walk by. I peek my head out the back door and she is barking and her hackles are up. I call her inside. This same thing happens for an entire week. I finally decide to head outside with her. Sure enough I spot a neighborhood boy standing at the neighbors garage making barking noises, telling her to shut-up and throwing rocks towards the fence.

I freaked out on this kid. I told him to go home and not to EVER let me catch him teasing my dog again. I went through the house and out the front door and watched him so that I could see where he lived. Later that day and multiple times that evening I went to his house trying to speak with a parent. No one ever answered the door even though I know they were home. The next day I went to the police department to see what could be done and what my rights and responsibilities were.

I actually didn't like the answers I got but at least it was on record that something was going on. They were not up to doing anything about it and that it was a "domestic issue" that I would need to handle myself if or until something illegal took place (injury from Cami or ME to the kid!!).
I must have gotten to him since he started (and continues to this day) to walk home on the other side of the street and fast when he passes our house.

Good luck to you. I know how frustrating these issues can be and you are dealing with a lot more than I ever had to.
Please post an update!
