Thank you all so much for your sympathies.
I swear, yesterday I was in the bathroom and I could hear her purring. She never let me use that room alone!
We did adopt a kitten, Sophia (Sophie) from the ASPCA last week.
She is not here to "replace" Gary, but she is here to be a part of our family. She's nothing like Gary.
Where Gary was aloof, Sophie is obnoxiously friendly, lol! I think she is part Boxer!
I am clicker training her to sit....something Gary would have NEVER taken part in.
I miss Gary, but Sophie is our newest feline baby, Bella and Sophie are getting along a lot better than Bella and Gary did. Gary didn't want Bella to bother her...Sophie wants to play.
Gary will always have a special place in our hearts, no one will ever replace her, and I thank you all so much for your sympathy for our loss.
