I have to tell you all that your support, thoughts, and sharing of your experiences really means a lot to me. It is so helpful. I came away from my vet's office extremely frustrated and second-guessing myself. They were so close-minded. The male vet had never even heard of Rescue Remedy before, asked what it was and after I explained it to him he said, "well, I guess the inventor of that got rescued from poverty" in addition to scoffing at DAP. After this experience and hearing from you all, I am certain now I am doing the right thing. And I need to find a new vet! Hopefully one that is more open-minded and has more experience with drug intervention. My baby Buster (yes, he's my baby even though he's 70 lbs, lol) deserves every opportunity to become the happiest dog he can be. You all have given me confidence that I am still on the right track.
