Thor who is 9 weeks old has started barking at other dogs if I don't let him play with them. I personally don't mind letting him and another dog we meet on a walk having a good sniff - but not all dog owners are ok with this and last night we met a pug puppy and he was just being too jumpy and we didn't want him to hurt her.
Well he's started barking and growling, I try to correct him and say no bark - but I can't get him to clam down enough and so he doesn't listen. He's normally very good with other dog and will play nice - but apparently gets very frustrated when he can't.
Is this a normal puppy thing and should I just keep doing what I'm doing (correcting and not giving in) or is there something else I can do to curb this?
