Forgot about the collar. I bought my dog when he was a puppy a very light collar that weighed nothing to put on his neck. He did not like it at all at the beginning. I put the collar on when we went out so he got a small treat. I took it out when we came back. So he associated collar with treat and did not complain much after a couple of days.
