I have just come back from England & Germany, and while in Germany when we stayed with one of Gunthers brothers, my sister-in-law made a soup full up with vegetables and some of the lightest dumplings we had ever tasted. I have the recipe and will try it out very soon now that the weather has turned a bit cooler. They are made with semolina. They were delicious. I will try them first then share the recipe with you.
