Just because someone takes all the steps to make a well rounded and healthy boxer pup - doesn't mean that they aren't going to try and rake in the dough - greed is a common human fault

That would give them a good reason to jack up the price on the pups - because they are healthy and correct.
I am not saying that all or even most breeders do this - but some do.
and just because someone breeds good dogs, it doesn't make them a good person

about the vet thing - I don't think that the vets inject the animals with anything to make them sick, BUT I have seen a lot of vets that ARE out for it just for the money and they suck the money out of uneducated people.
For instance - the vet KNOWS what is wrong with the dog but says that they don't and they need to do all these little (yet expensive) tests FIRST - then they keep dragging it out to get you to come back and buy more products and medicines from them.
We have one of those in my town
She doesn't let you go in the room with your dog, and my brothers dad's dog was hit by a car, my brother carried her to that vet office and asked for help (he didn't have a car) - the vet wouldn't even look at the dog (no eye contact or anything) and acted indifferent. She wouldn't touch the dog unless my brother was a customer there then she refused him and the dog died after suffering for a half an hour.
Thank goodness we also have a couple of GOOD vets that actually care about the animals. It's too bad they were too far away for my brother to get there
